Writers: 4 Reasons Not To Give Up On Your Dream

Writers And Authors Can Dream Of Anything
Writers And Authors Can Dream Of Anything

Writers who have not had much financial success can get very discouraged - but don’t ever stop writing if you want to become a well-respected author. Especially if you want to become one of the best selling authors of all time.

Because even when you are failing at learning how to write your own book - and make it a bestseller - this experience can be inspiring. Maybe not now, but someday.

So take a pause when someone tells you how to write a bestseller in 21 days and it doesn't work out. And also, if you are discouraged because you can't figure out how to write a book in a weekend, it doesn't mean you won't become a bestselling author.

Someday. And that is the keyword. Because someday might be right around the corner.

And if you are a writer, what makes a book a bestseller is lurking somewhere in your brain. You just have to keep seeking it out. Because what makes a bestseller novel for you is right there as soon as you realize it.

And keep in mind, you can always write about your failures. Or write about anything. Just as long as you keep writing and dreaming - you will make it - as many other popular authors and writers have done.

That being said, here are four reasons why all authors and writers should never give up on their dreams. Because the main thing about being a writer is that you have to work through your daily problems, write something, and then continue on - to your destiny.

As a writer.

Reason #1 For Writers Not To Give Up On Their Dream

First of all, your regular job will eventually kill you. That is, if you don’t just shut off your brain first. But you can’t quit your job.  For now. But at the same time, you can't work there forever.

Because you are a writer. And you can’t change that. And as long as your dead-end job doesn’t suck all of the writer’s spirit out of you - you can become one of the wealthiest authors of all time. As long a you keep writing. If only to keep dreaming of the day you sell your first book and walk out of the place where you work.

With your head held high.

In the mean time, write a bestselling book about how awful your job is. You wouldn’t be the first person to profit from that. Sometimes being really unhappy at work creates the bestseller formula that many writers look for their entire life.

Reason #2 For Writers Not To Give Up On Their Dream

The best selling authors of the decade all agree - you have to produce a certain amount of writing before you are successful. Both bad and good - in order to figure out how to write a bestseller. And you have to be realistic. For example, the bestselling nonfiction books of all time run around at least 80,000 words - give or take. And famous authors of novels will tell you the same thing. You have to follow book publishing standards in order to make it onto the Barnes and Noble best sellers list.

Consequently, you may need to write this amount two or three times over before you find your voice and have a publishable book.  So keep typing on your bestselling manuscript.

And if you are on social media, it will help if you start writing your own tweets. Because everyone already knows the quotes from the best authors of the 21st century. Like J.K. Rowling and Stephen King. And you should know as a writer, people want to hear what you  have to say.

You just have to start saying it. And social media is the perfect place to develop your voice and get a following. So that when you publish your book, it will become one of the bestselling books of the year.

Reason #3 For Writers Not To Give Up On Their Dream

You get to stop living your life so poorly. Think of all the things you have given up to sit at your computer, writing day after day. You deserve to have one of the top selling books of all time. Maybe even one of the New York Times Best Sellers 2018. Why not?

So it's perfectly fine to keep writing away at something that you hope will one day will become one of the popular books of the year. Or one of the bestsellers of the decade.

And if you are really serious, ask yourself: did you also give up a lucrative job or a promotion in order to keep writing full-time? Then think of all the other things you have given up to be a writer. But you may become one of the wealthiest authors of all times. It's healthy to keep dreaming and writing.

And now think of all the money you will have, along with the time to enjoy it, when you publish your bestselling book.

Reason #4 For Writers Not To Give Up On Their Dream

Your family and friends need you to do this. They know you’re not going to be happy doing anything else but writing and publishing bestselling books. And they love reading your work, but what they really want is for other people to pay for the privilege of reading it. Strangers and other critics.

Don’t let them down. So keep typing on your manuscript until you get published and achieve your dream. And if one project isn’t working right now, switch to another one - until you hit on that one thing that works for you and your readers.

However, if you are just starting out with writing, here is a list of keywords you can google to find out more information on how to become one of the best authors of all time:
